Our Story

While Kai was working in the rural area of Northern Nigeria, he noticed that almost all of the arable lands were left unused during the "dry season", which spans eight months of the year.

For a region that is known for lacking food and nutrients, why aren't those lands used to produce food? If we could farm in the dry season, maybe we could increase the food supply in the market and make prices more affordable for the local people. Wouldn't this be a possibility to alleviate the food and nutrient problem in the region?

With this question in mind, Kai has established a 25000m2 research plot in Kano, Nigeria in the early summer of 2023. He and his team of local farmers and international experts are dedicated to producing hybrid variations of local crops that can grow and thrive in the sub-Saharan climate, along with high fruiting yield and resistance to insects and diseases.

Our Vision

Eliminate hunger in Africa through efficient agricultural practices.
